Shawn Zou is a script supervisor for film&TV, represented by Nia Hughes at Sara Putt Associates.
He is fluent in Mandarin and English, with a working knowledge of Cantonese. He’s confident working digitally—skilled with Peter Skarratt templates and Scriptation, with basic experience in ScriptE and FileMaker Pro.
With an MA from the London Film School and a BA from Hong Kong Baptist University, he combines solid film grammar knowledge with a sharp eye for continuity. He has also completed the GBCT Script Supervision course led by Sarah Hayward, as well as a continuity workshop with Helene Oosthuizen.
Shawn has a soft spot for indie projects rooted in realism, but also knows his way around high-end, VFX-heavy productions that step into the fantastical. His adaptability and calm presence make him a reliable addition to any set.
He holds a clean UK driving licence and has access to a vehicle.
